Community Service

At CIRENAS, we believe in the transformative power of meaningful cross-cultural interaction with our neighbors in the local community.

Community service opportunities include helping host seminars and educational workshops on solid waste management, compost and recycling, sustainable water use, innovative earth-friendly farming practices, permaculture, green building technologies, and turtle conservation; as well as participating in regular school, beach and community clean-ups and providing support for climate change mitigation practices associated with the Blue Flag program for the nearby school, Bello Horizonte.
